Gianluigi Buffon has confirmed he would be open to a move to the Premier League as he admits there is a possibility he could leave Juventus this summer. Buffon, who is currently the world’s most expensive goalkeeper, is eyeing a move to the premiership which coincides with Arsenal’s goalkeeping problems compounded by Fabianski’s poor show the during the UK Bank holiday Monday game and the inconsistencies of Almunia. The only issue is that Wenger is not attuned to splashing money for big players unlike Sir Alex Ferguson who has been promised money to spend by the CEO and would definitely not be reluctant to find a worthy replacement for Van der Sar.
